The workshop in detail

Clara, formulator and advisor at the Maison-Atelier, welcomes you with a coffee, then guides you step by step, from choosing the oils to moulding. You make your own silk protein soap using the cold process method, which best preserves the properties of the ingredients.

How it works

  • A coffee to start: we get to know each other and Clara introduces the workshop, the oils and the safety rules. Lab coat, gloves and goggles are provided.
  • Making: you weigh, heat, mix and add the silk protein.
  • Moulding: you pour your mixture and choose your finishes.
  • Curing: Clara explains how to let your soaps rest for six weeks before using them.
  • If you wish: a scalp diagnosis to finish, with advice tailored to your routine.
