Before I show you around, let us go back to childhood for a moment. When I was little, I remember my grandmother’s apartment, always full of people.
I remember she left the front door open “in case someone wanted to drop in for a coffee.” The kind of feeling you do not forget.
You see where I am going? That is the atmosphere I wanted to recreate with the Maison.
A place where you feel good, where everything is considered, but always evolving.
And on top of that… "Maison Homnès" sounded chic.
Atelier or laboratory?
I hesitated for a long time.
Technically, it is a laboratory. We formulate, we test, we measure, we adjust to the exact pH.
But in practice… It is an atelier. Because we do everything by hand. Because we touch, we smell, we start again. Because we are a little obsessive about the scalp, and very much in love with beautiful products.
So there it is. It is an artisan’s laboratory.
Or an atelier that smells of a formula done right.

Everything is designed in house.
And I mean really: the materials, the colors, the lamps, the textures, the formulas, the packaging. All me!
It may sound obsessive. It is obsessive.
But I love it. That is where my heart goes BOOM-BOOM.
The products
1. It is 100% active ingredients.
Nothing but active ingredients.
2. It is made by hand, cold.
Artisanal production means the ingredients are never heated, so the active ingredients are never damaged.
The result? It cares better.

I’m Kety, the founder of Homnès.
But above all an obsessive creative who cannot live without a project.
Function and emotion: that is what moves me. Thinking is my passion (not exactly a secret).
I always knew I wanted to build my own company. Today I am completely hooked.
What matters most: our customers. Taking care of people is, to me, simply the baseline.
The meaning of the name
Homnès is a contraction of “home” and “omnès”, which means “everyone” in Latin.
And that is exactly it: a shampoo that suits a very snobbish art director… and his nephew, who does not even know what a conditioner is. A product adored by a zero-waste activist, and by her architect mother, who has a weakness for very, very beautiful things. And you know what? They all love it.
The beautiful, the good, the authentic.
